A Florida middle school was locked down last week after an AI security system called ZeroEyes mistook a clarinet for a gun, reviving criticism that AI may not be worth the high price schools pay for peace of mind.
Human review of the AI-generated false flag did not stop police from rushing to Lawton Chiles Middle School. Cops expected to find “a man in the building, dressed in camouflage with a ‘suspected weapon pointed down the hallway, being held in the position of a shouldered rifle,'” a Washington Post review of the police report said.

The fill ratios seem very good. Having used flash
back when you had to do your own calculations I was very surprised that the results didn't look harsh or washout features. Somebody has the sensors and programming down.

By law, “Congress requires the Pentagon to support Scouting America’s Jamboree, lending trucks, ambulances and medical teams free of charge.” However, Hegseth can refuse to provide those things if he thinks offering them would be “detrimental to national security.” It would take a twisting of logic into a Gordian Knot to prove that supporting the Scouts is a threat to national security. But Hegseth treats logic like a urinal cake. He accuses the Scouts of no longer cultivating “masculine values,” then says that it would compromise national security to send troops and equipment to the Jamboree because it would divert resources from protecting U.S. territory. Really? I mean, REALLY!

Stairwell in my doctor's office building.
I am back with my first primary doctor after a year and a half. Had to stay with the old practice iven after she moved for 6 months and then was contracted to the old practice until this summer.
This is the stairwell in the building that she now works in.
Things are looking up.
